High contents in various polyphenolic compounds protect the plant tissue against the attack of radicals. Alpine Rose Essence is a purified extract of organic alpine rose leaves. Several in vitro and in vivo studies showed that it Alpine Rose Essence inhibits the carbonylation of cutaneous proteins, an irreversible, unrepairable and age-related oxidative process induced by reactive oxygen species. Besides, it is also demonstrated to have antiviral effects which it can protect skin proteins against damage induced by oxidative stress as well as reinforce its defense against pathogens.

Myoxinol is a complex of oligopeptides obtained by biotransformation of native proteins from the seeds of Okra plan. Okra trees grow mainly in South Asia and Africa. Their seeds are widely used in traditional medicine but also as a food source.
